Fabregas: Has not been at his best this season

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is pushing for a move away from #Chelsea, according to Corriere dello Sport. The Spain star has had a wretched start to the season with the Blues and was dropped on several occasions by former boss Jose Mourinho.

New gaffer Guus Hiddink could also be set to axe Fabregas and the 28-year-old is believed to be looking for a way out at Stamford Bridge. The Italian publication claims #Inter Milan and #Juventus are willing to move for #CFC Fabregas as early as January, but that a summer departure is looking more likely.

Klopp: Sent back down to earth after Watford defeat

In his weekly Liverpool blog, Dave Tindall says the honeymoon period is over for Jurgen #Klopp and ponders what fans can expect from the team this season and in the January transfer window. Good grief. How quickly things change. With the fixture list and incompetence of others seemingly offering #Liverpool #LFC an obvious route into the top four, we’ve blown it big-style.

Wins over Newcastle, West Brom and Watford would have had us sitting in third place on Sunday night. The reality of two defeats and a draw (secured by a deflected injury-time strike), has left the Reds labouring in ninth with a negative goal difference.

Louis van Gaal: is killing Anthony Martial on the wing, say Henry and Carragher

Manchester United are wasting Anthony Martial by asking him to play on the wing, say Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher, who both feel he should play as a central striker. Martial, signed for £36.7million from #Monaco in the summer, arrived as a striker who could play on the wing, and scored five goals in his first nine appearances.

After a bright start however, Martial #MANUTD  has faded after regularly being moved out wide by manager Van Gaal, and the Frenchman has scored just twice in 11 games. Such a run includes a goal against Norwich, where Martial’s position as a left-winger caused consternation among Sky Sports pundits Henry and Carragher on Monday Night Football.

Your Says of the Day: Jose Mourinho, Mourinho, Mourinho

The Your Says of the Day are dominated by Jose Mourinho’s departure, where he went wrong and who will replace him.If you have anything to add on any subject, you know what to do – post on the Your Say forum now.
His record shows that he tends to crack under pressure. I’m not really interested in that assumption where Jose will fail in his third year but what seems rather certain is that when the going gets tough, he finds it hard to bounce back.

Pep Guardiola informs Bayern Munich of his future plans

I think Manchester United is always entertaining but when I read the papers I see that it is boring, he said.Asked if the next phase in United #mufc development under him was to start taking risks, Van Gaal replied: Now you are agreeing with the opinion of Paul #Scholes. I don’t agree with his opinion. I always take risks.
